I'm not a client of SVH - can I still have you massage my dog there?
Yes. We (SVH and I) will require a communication from your regular vet (email or fax) indicating that they know your dog is coming to SVH and Mutt Massage for massage, and we encourage the vet to indicate what areas or injuries should be addressed. Massage is a collaborative process! And I am happy to keep your vet informed about the sessions.
Services & Session Lengths & Rates
Each massage session is individually tailored to your animal's needs on the date of session and based on information provided by your vet. The massage session may variably feature elements of massage, acupressure, Reiki, manual lymphatic drainage and Equitape® . You will be required to fill out an intake form in advance of the appointment.
Initial intake appointment 45 minutes (60 with complicated history)
Subsequent appointments 60, 45 minutes or 30 minutes
ICBC reports rates per hour
Please call SVH for the current rates for each service. One appointment is required per animal if you are bringing a family of animals.
Pet Insurance Coverage
Your pet insurance MAY cover animal massage by a certified provider such as myself. Look at your policy, as each one is different, and talk to your vet about supporting animal massage for your dog.
Cancellation & Payment
SVH will collect payment from you. SVH's "no show" and cancellation policies of SVH apply.
